Scaling Sustainability: Inside Phospholutions’ Transformational Summer

It’s been a season of momentum at Phospholutions. From regulatory wins to international growth and industry recognition, this summer proved that sustainable fertilizer innovation isn’t just the future. It’s happening now.
Our flagship technology, RhizoSorb®, took a major step forward with approval from the Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) as a beneficial substance. In practical terms, RhizoSorb, on its own or blended with fertilizers, will improve phosphate use efficiency. Not long after, we achieved product registration in California, one of the most rigorous agricultural markets in the world. It validates RhizoSorb’s performance and reliability, and it opens a new door for growers across the western U.S.
Beyond regulatory milestones, this summer marked the beginning of a new chapter for our business. We expanded our sales into Canada and kicked off trials across Central and South America, strengthening our reach throughout the Western Hemisphere. Each of these markets presents unique soils, crops, and challenges, but one constant has emerged: RhizoSorb works. It consistently helps farmers get more phosphorus to their crops and less lost to the environment, improving profitability and sustainability simultaneously.
That momentum extended to our team. We grew across nearly every department — from research and sales to business development and supply chain — adding expertise to support expanding demand and deliver at scale.
Our efforts didn’t go unnoticed. AgTech Breakthrough named RhizoSorb Fertilizer Innovation of the Year, recognizing both the product’s impact and the mission behind it. We were also honored as finalists in the International Fertilizer Association’s Cultivate Challenge, where Phospholutions took home the Judges’ Choice Award in the Asia-Pacific regional showcase. These awards are encouraging, not because of the spotlight, but because they reinforce that our technology is solving real problems for real growers around the world.
As we head into fall and winter, our focus remains the same: helping farmers get the most out of every pound of phosphorus. With new approvals, new partnerships, and new people on board, we’re positioned to make that outcome possible on more acres than ever before.
